Project for converting a fleet of quarry dump trucks at a mining and processing plant to hydrogen fuel

Creating a hybrid energy system for a 220-ton quarry dump truck running on hydrogen fuel and the necessary infrastructure for generation, storage, transportation and refueling with hydrogen.

Stages:

  • 2025-2026 – development and production of the dump truck prototype and refueling infrastructure, factory tests, beginning of tests at the customer's quarry.
  • 2027-2028 – Stage 1 of serial implementation of technologies at the customer's quarry.

  • Hydrogen refueling station at 350 atm – 4 dispensers, more than 250 kg in 15-20 min
  • 4 refueling units – up to 20 kg/min
  • 4 groups of high-pressure hydrogen receivers – more than 250 kg at 350 atm
  • 4 electrochemical generators on hydrogen fuel cells – more than 1000 kW
  • 4 groups of supporting lithium batteries – up to 500 kWh, up to 2000 kW for long-term charge/discharge
  • 4 bidirectional DC-DC converter modules – up to 2400 kW
  • 2 motor-wheels – up to 2000 kW
  • 2 brake resistor modules – up to 2400 kW
  • Liquid thermostatic systems for batteries, fuel cells and power converters
